Topic- Thinking About and Creating an Enduring Legacy
In our roles, we often focus on helping others create their legacies, but what about our own? As fundraising professionals and community members, we sometimes overlook the legacy we’re building every day. This presentation will enlighten the audience, showing them that their work contributes to their overall legacy. It demonstrates that legacy isn’t only about wealth but about daily actions and planting the seeds for the future.
Have you ever thought about your legacy? Research indicates that people do think about their legacy. Yet few of us have a legacy action plan. Legacy building changes over time, and the change is often based on the stages of our life. Youth, education, relationships, rituals all impact our legacy and self-awareness of our mortality…and immortality. Consciously connecting with your legacy can stimulate action and behaviors that positively impact your personal and professional life.
