This October Spirit of Giving celebrated Do Good Delray with a Sunset Soiree.
The happy hour took place at the beautiful rooftop restaurant Rosewater by Akira Back at the Ray hotel in Delray. A sold-out crowd enjoyed prosciutto wrapped melon, caprese stacks, lettuce cups, and edamame, as well as a complimentary welcome drink consisting of a grapefruit mule courtesy of Dano’s Dangerous Tequila.
Guests tested their luck and vied to out-bid each other for a variety of fabulous raffle and auction prizes, including a 2-night stay at the Atha Yoga Retreat House, an exclusive stay and portrait session with Bradford Portraits in New York City or Miami, and endzone tickets to the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational.
Spirit of Giving kicked off the program with a welcome from Director of Development Alana St. John, followed by a brief segment from Anthea Walker, the CEO of our amazing event sponsor A.W. Concierge, William Millard from Rosewater Rooftop by Akira Back, and closed out by Alexa Hefner from The Ray Hotel. William and Alexa graciously donated their time, teams, and space for us to use for this event.
Set against the backdrop of a beautiful Delray Beach sunset, this event brought together nonprofits, local businesses, and supporters from all over south Florida. Spirit of Giving’s Sunset Soiree event supports our annual Holiday Gift Drive, which will deliver gifts to over 12,000 children across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
