Boca Raton’s Favorite Community Football Night Returns with
Fan-Favorite “Food, Fun and Fundraising” and a Creative Tailgate-Inspired Twist
Presented by 30 Area Chefs, Brew Masters and Mixologists

Boca Raton, FL (September 9, 2019) – With 30 area chefs, brew masters and mixologists creating their signature twists on tailgate classics, the fifth annual Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase & College Football Spirit Night will be brimming with creative culinary and craft beer samplings.  Held on Tuesday, November 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel, 2000 N.W. 19th St., Boca Raton, FL;  top local restaurant, country club, hotel and cooking school chefs, as well as brew masters and mixologists, will once again bring their gastronomic and brew A-game to rally Bowl fans and raise funds to support Spirit of Giving’s Annual Holiday Gift Drive.

As a popular lead-in event for the sixth annual Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl, the Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase takes a “Chef vs. Chef” and “Brew vs. Brew” approach in friendly competition.  The culinary masters aim to please the palates of event-goers with their takes on tailgate fare ranging from sides and entrees to beverages and desserts, while brew masters share their signature craft creations. Each chef and brew master present their originals to a panel of expert ‘foodie’ media, personalities and bloggers while guests get to cast their own votes for the “People’s Choice” designation.

South Florida residents and businesses will again network and join in on all of the
pre-Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl countdown festivities at this high-spirited, one-of-a-kind fundraising event. For this popular laid-back networking and pride-rallying event, guests are encouraged to come out wearing their alma mater or favorite college team’s colors and jerseys. They will get to mix and mingle with other fellow college football fans and community partners, along with ESPN on-air personalities who will be onsite and broadcasting live.

“Each year this competition gets more exciting as chefs and breweries up their game strategies with bold, new recipes and spirited station decor,” notes Doug Mosley, Executive Director of the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl that is set to kick off on Saturday, December 21 at 3:30 p.m. at FAU Stadium. “This year’s roster includes many new Boca Raton restaurants that are debuting this fall and I can’t wait to see what everyone is cooking up. It’s all in good fun and fundraising for our Bowl’s charity partner Spirit of Giving and the holiday magic the nonprofit brings to thousands each year.”
