The Community Spirit Race is our annual 5K and 1-mile walk, designed to bring the nonprofit and local business community together through movement, collaboration, and shared purpose. This event serves as a unique fundraising opportunity where nonprofit organizations can participate at no cost and with no financial risk, allowing them to focus fully on awareness, engagement, and impact.
The race is more than a run. It is a community-wide experience that encourages wellness, connection, and visibility for organizations doing meaningful work. By joining forces with other nonprofits, sponsors, and community partners, participants gain exposure to a broad audience while raising funds to support their individual missions.
Each year, the event features a Community Expo that brings together nonprofit organizations and select local businesses. The expo creates space for face-to-face connection, education, and discovery, allowing attendees to learn about local causes, services, and opportunities to get involved. With thousands of attendees, the expo is a powerful platform for outreach, storytelling, and relationship building.
We are proud to partner with Boca Raton Fire Rescue and to host a Kids Fun Run, making the Community Spirit Race an inclusive, family-friendly event that welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. The Kids Fun Run takes place on Florida Atlantic University’s Flagler Credit Union Football Field, adding an exciting and memorable experience for young participants and their families.

The Community Spirit Race is a collaborative 5K run and 1-mile walk that brings nonprofits, businesses, families, and community partners together for a morning of wellness, connection, and impact.
Unlike traditional races, this event is designed to empower nonprofit organizations. Our nonprofit members form teams and raise funds for their own missions, with no cost and no financial risk to participate.

All registered runners receive a Community Spirit Race t-shirt.
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in all age categories.

The Community Spirit Race welcomes more than 2,000 participants and supporters and creates a shared platform where nonprofits grow together, not in competition.
