The ninth annual game will be played Tuesday\, December 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET and televised on ESPN. \nKickoff will take place at FAU Stadium on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. In addition to the ESPN broadcast\, the game will be carried nationally on ESPN Radio and locally on ESPN 106.3 FM. \n“We are excited to be back on our traditional date\, the Tuesday before Christmas\,” said executive director Doug Mosley. “We look forward to\, once again\, welcoming top teams\, student-athletes and fans to enjoy all that our beautiful city of Boca Raton and Palm Beach County has to offer.” \nThe RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl has historically taken place on the Tuesday before Christmas six times out of its eight games and aired on ESPN. The event will be held in true outdoor tailgate tradition once again on the lawn at BRiC featuring a diverse abundance of creative culinary\, craft beer and cocktail samplings. The “fan and fund” raising event will be located lakeside at 5000 T-Rex Avenue\, Boca Raton\, FL (off Yamato Road) where plenty of free parking is available. \n  \nTop chefs from local restaurants\, country clubs\, hotels\, and catering services\, as well as brewery and mixology pros will bring their A-game to please the palates of eventgoers and a panel of “foodie” judges. College football fans network and rally in “community pride” to raise funds to support the bowl’s charity partner\, Spirit of Giving\, and its Annual Holiday Gift Drive that brings holiday magic to more than 7\,000 underprivileged children. \n  \nAiming to score a win in the friendly competition\, the culinary and libation masters will present their original takes on tailgate fare ranging from sides and entrees to beverages and desserts. DESCRIPTION:The 2022 RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl Idol talent competition presented by the City of Boca has been rescheduled to Friday\, October 21 at 6 p.m. Organizers report that all previous ticket sales from the September date will be honored for the new event date. The final round of competition in the quest to find the 2022 bowl game National Anthem performer will be an open-to-the-public event at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center. \n  \nPer public voting\, the top five\, who will take the stage are Florida residents: \n\nJillian Flaherty\, 20\, soloist\, amateur\, Lake Worth\nAlisha Harvey\, 49\, soloist\, professional\, Tallahassee\nHadas Levy\, 40\, soloist\, professional\, Boca Raton\nEmily Shecter\, 21\, soloist\, professional\, Wellington\nRylee Siegel\, 20\, soloist\, professional\, Lake Worth\n\nThe idol event takes center stage when the Top Five finalists perform a song of their choice for a panel of judges and live audience. The audience will have the chance to cheer on and vote for their favorite contestant\, and a combination of those audience votes and judges selections will determine the Top Three. The final three will then perform the National Anthem \nto determine the 2022 idol winner. \nAdmission to the live finalists event is $25 per person; $35 per person at the door.
